ondaFlo pool setup – 3 rules and video

Your ondaFlo pool has arrived or is on its way. Before you fill it, watch the 90-second video. It will help you set everything up correctly. Most issues come down to valve handling, so we show you how to set the valve pin, how to tighten the valve and check it for leaks, and how to connect the filtration adapters.

1Set the valve pin before inflating

In the centre of each valve there is a pin. For inflating it must be popped out (upper position) so air goes in but doesn’t escape. If the pin is pushed in, the air will escape as soon as you disconnect the pump hose. To change its position, press the pin and turn it until it clicks. Inflate only with the pump from the set or an electric pump designed for high-pressure products – a workshop compressor can tear the pool shell. The target pressure is 6–8 PSI. Don’t worry if the gauge stays at zero at first – the needle only starts moving at 2–3 PSI.

2Losing pressure? Start with the valve

The most common cause is a loose valve. It can happen even on a brand-new pool, so after inflating, tighten both valves and check them from time to time. If the pressure still drops, take the wrench from the set and tighten. Not sure whether the valve is tight and airtight? Spray it thoroughly with soapy water – bubbles will reveal the leak. You’ll find more tips in the manual. Remember that sun and heat raise the pressure in the walls: when you’re not using the pool, release a little air, and top it up on a cooler day.

3Connect the filter pump before adding water

If you have a filter pump, connect its hoses before filling the pool with water to avoid leaks. The set includes 47 to 38/32 mm adapters that connect the pool ports to the pump hoses. The lower „WATER OUT” port feeds water to the pump, the upper „WATER IN” returns it filtered. If you notice a leak after tightening the adapters, wrap the threads with PTFE (teflon) tape – it will seal the connections. If your pump’s hoses are larger than 38 or 32 mm in diameter, get suitable adapters.

The full manual is included in the set, and you’ll find the digital version under the QR code on the pool wall. Questions about setup? Contact us.
