Calcinex - hardness and scale regulator

Calcinex is another product from the Bayrol brand that you should add to your home pool chemicals. The preparation prevents the precipitation and accumulation of compounds that cause water hardness, especially calcium compounds.

Hard water is characterized by a high concentration of calcium and magnesium ions. In a home pool, it can lead to many technical and aesthetic problems, increasing operating costs.

Hard water causes mineral deposits – a white film settles not only inside the pool, but also on the ladder or filter pump. The high mineral content makes the water cloudy or milky, which makes it difficult to clarify, even with intensive filtration and the use of pool chemicals.

Calcinex hardness and deposit regulator effectively prevents water cloudiness and the deposition of calcium compounds in pools and filters. What's more, the preparation – added sufficiently early to the pool – binds metal ions contained in the water and thus prevents water discoloration. This is particularly important when untreated well water is used to fill and replenish the pool.

Dosing:

Calcinex should be dosed directly into the water immediately after filling the pool.

The dosage of Calcinex depends on the degree of water hardness and averages 15-30 ml per 1 m3 of pool water:

• 0-15 odH – 15 ml/m3

• 15-20 odH – 20 ml/m3

• 20-25 odH – 25 ml/m3

• > 25 odH – 30 ml/m3

If the water hardness exceeds 28 odH, the dose should be increased by 30-50%. Information on the degree of water hardness will be provided by the local waterworks. It can also be measured with an appropriate tester.

Instructions for use:

The optimal water hardness in a garden pool is about 8-14 odH.

At water temperatures above 28 degrees Celsius, it is recommended to increase the dosed amounts by 30% to 50%. Subsequent dosages depend on the amount of fresh water added.

To prevent the negative effects of a large amount of iron in the water, Calcinex from Bayrol should be used in combination with coagulation agents.

Calcinex should always be used when water for the pool is drawn from a well.
